SOLARIS AUTUMN/WINTER 2015 FASHION WEEK

DESCRIPTION
A week long series of fashion shows showcasing unreleased and recently released designs for Autumn and Winter 2015 (A/W15) from some of Second Life’s best known and up and coming fashion designers.  Both mens and womens designs will be shown. On-site boutiques to offer the items seen in the shows for sale. This exclusive retail area will be adjacent to the runway location and will be open for 1-2 weeks. All shows will be collaborative shows representing 3 – 10 designers. There will be 4 themed shows featuring specially designed items for the individual themes. In addition, we have added a specific area just for GATCHA machines.

DATES/TIMES    
Saturday, October 10 – Sunday, October 18, 2015
Shows will be held:
Saturday – Sunday : 10:00AM SLT, 11:30AM SLT, 1:30PM SLT, 3:00PM SLT

TIMELINE
We ask everyone to comply with the deadlines so that photographers, bloggers, models and script writers can show you their best work. The quality of their work will depend on your compliance.

8.15.2015   Last date for registering to participate
8.29.2015   Submission of design images
Pictures will be used for production work only, simple raw snapshots will be fine.
9.5.2015     Submission of Outfits
10.5.2015   Send outfits to bloggers
10.5.2015   Setup on-site store in Retail area and GATCHA machine, if applicable
10.10.2015 Fashion Week Opens

RETAIL (Boutiques)
Fashion Designers participating in Fashion Week will have a shop on site to sell the items showcased in the various shows. These shops will remain for 1 – 2 weeks after the completion of the week’s shows.

GATCHA AREA
In the center of the Retail area will be an area for each designer to place a GATCHA Machine, if desired. 100% of all sales via the Gatcha will go to the designer.

TERMS

  • There can be No Adult Content
  • You will need an open group space for communication purposes
  • Payments are to be made to: solarisbusiness.resident
  • Once payment is made, there will be No refunds for any reason
  • And most importantly, you need to follow the timeline for important dates
  • Participation is on a first come, first serve basis
  • Deadline for submission of your Participation Form will be August 15, 2015
